Dr. Robert Sharobiem, DDS

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Robert Sharobiem earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2009, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.

Following dental school, Dr. Sharobiem completed advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he gained extensive experience in reconstructive surgery, facial trauma, and complex oral surgical procedures. He also completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was recognized as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Resident of the Year.

Dr. Sharobiem is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to advanced clinical education and delivering the highest standard of surgical care.

He has held leadership and service roles including co-founding the UCLA Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Study Club and serving as Director of the UCLA/USC Mobile Dental Clinic. He has also been recognized with the AAOMS Humanitarian Award for his service on international dental missions in Guatemala, Haiti, and Mexico, where he helped provide care to underserved communities.

Dr. Sharobiem is dedicated to patient-centered care, focusing on comfort, reducing anxiety, and ensuring the best possible surgical outcomes.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his niece and nephew, reading, solving crossword puzzles, traveling, hiking, playing basketball, bowling, trying new foods, and participating in church and international volunteer work.
